Rock Ridge Public Schools is accepting applications for a 0.4 FTE Physical Therapist for the Special Education Department at Rock Ridge Public Schools located in Virginia, Minnesota.

Salary and Benefits: $55,145 - $90,420 (Pro-rated based on 0.4 FTE. Pay and benefits follow the Education Minnesota Rock Ridge Local #7394 Collective Bargaining Agreement - available at www.rrps.org.) Mileage reimbursement provided for district travel in accordance with district policy.
Job Summary:
Rock Ridge School District is seeking a qualified and student-centered Physical Therapist to provide school-based physical therapy services for students with disabilities ages birth through age 21. The Physical Therapist works collaboratively with special education staff, general education staff, related service providers, families, and administration to support students in accessing their educational environment and making meaningful progress toward IEP goals. Services may be proved in school buildings, early childhood settings, center-based programs, and community instructional environments as required by student needs.
Education: Doctorate or Master''s Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE accredited physical therapy program.
Required:
1. Current Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) through the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
* Must hold an active unrestricted Minnesota PT license.
* Minnesota law requires an active state PT license in order to practice physical therapy in any setting, including schools.
2. Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
3. Passage of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) as part of Minnesota licensure.
4. Must maintain annual renewal and continuing education requirements
* Minnesota PTs renew annually.
* 20 CE hours every two years including ethics training required.
