At Hopkins Public Schools, we believe that our strength lies in the diversity of our students, staff, and community. We are a proudly inclusive E-12 district serving approximately 7,200 students across the City of Hopkins and surrounding communities. Our district represents a rich mosaic of cultures, backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences; we value and celebrate that diversity in everything we do. As an academically rigorous and human-centered district, we are committed to fostering a welcoming environment where every student and staff member feels seen, heard, and valued. There is no "typical" Hopkins student, and we embrace this truth as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and equity in learning.
We seek educators and staff who are equity-minded, culturally responsive, and deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces where all learners can thrive.
We welcome candidates who are passionate about dismantling systemic barriers, advancing justice, and preparing students to become bold, collaborative, and compassionate global citizens. When you join Hopkins Public Schools, you are not just joining a district, you are becoming part of a community that honors difference, nurtures potential, and inspires remarkable achievement in every learner, from birth through graduation.
You are welcome at Hopkins. You belong at Hopkins.
This position on the Innovation, Design & Learning team is available due to a resignation.
Purpose Statement:
The ideal candidate is both a technology visionary as well as an action-oriented and student-centered operator and will lead Hopkins'' integration of technology in Hopkins Learning Framework aligned learning strategies. They have mastery of their content and instructional expertise and an interest in creating an educational model that fully aligns with Vision 2031. This person has a strong technology integration background and can apply this skill set to co-create technology integration ecosystems to enable rigorous, personalized learning for all students.
This role offers opportunities to shape district practice, influence system design, and grow as an instructional leader within a collaborative, values-driven team. Technology is leveraged to support language development, multilingual expression, and communication access across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
You may be a strong fit for this role if…
- You thrive in classrooms and learning spaces, working side-by-side with educators and students to design, facilitate, and refine meaningful learning experiences.

- You are energized by a people-facing, coaching-heavy role, building trust-based partnerships that support instructional growth over time.
- You can move fluidly between site-based relationships and district-level systems work, translating classroom insights into scalable practices and resources.
- You value equity, accessibility, and inclusive design as foundational to technology integration and intentionally reduce barriers to learning for all students.
- You embed technology integration into instructional planning and learning facilitation, aligning tools and pedagogies to clear learning goals and student outcomes.

- You provide responsive, in-the-moment implementation support, adjusting coaching and guidance based on learner needs, instructional context, and evidence of impact.
- You are a high-capacity, outcomes-oriented instructional leader who wants to do meaningful, embedded work that improves learning experiences—not one-off initiatives.
- You are motivated by collaboration and contribution, and are excited to bring your distinct strengths and expertise to a cohesive Technology Integration Specialist team.
- You bring elementary expertise in multilingual, immersion, or ESL instruction, and are skilled at using technology tools to support language development, multilingual expression, and communication access for students and families.
- You have elementary instructional expertise and understand the developmental foundations of early language, literacy and identity development.
