ELY PUBLIC SCHOOL POSITION OPENING .80 FTE - 1.0 FTE Social Studies Teacher Ely Public School District is looking for a .80 FTE - 1.0 FTE Social Studies Teacher starting the 2026-2027 school year. We are an EC - Grade 12 district, seeking an energetic, self-starting, personable, and highly motivated individual. Background check required. Qualifications include: · Current Minnesota 7-12 Social Studies teaching license · Teaching experience preferred · Preferred Master?s Degree · Excellent communication skills including verbal and written Responsibilities: · Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through effective teaching practices, with expectations of high student achievement. · Assess student progress, modify instruction, and improve student learning. · Communicate and collaborate with parents and the school community to foster individual student success and growth. · Plan, organize, and teach competency-based Social Studies courses. · Demonstrate effective classroom and equipment management.
