Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: Open until filled Date Closing: 08/24/2026 Position : Middle School (7th/8th grade) Football Coach License: Preferred teaching/coaching license Beginning: August 24,2026 All coaches at Rockford Area Schools are responsible for providing leadership, guidance and instruction to student athletes within their program. The coach reports to, and works closely with, the Activities Director along with other coaches to determine goals and direction of the program. The coach is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of every student athlete participating on their team. The middle school football coach will design and coordinate practices, assist in scheduling competitions, assess the skill level of players and create teams, create a positive team environment of respect and facilitate communication with the Activities Department, parents and players. This position will start on August 24, 2026 and run through late October.
