Position Overview: ALC Credit Recovery - Secondary Math and Science Hours/Day: 1.0 FTE Days/Year: Starting the 2026-2027 School Year Compensation/Benefits: Burnsville Education Association Contract The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has licensed teaching openings for the 2026-20267 Credit Recovery program. Credit Recovery program teachers will be utilizing a combination of Edgenuity online curriculum and synchronous instruction in person or via Google Meet. Primary Responsibilities: Work directly with students in person and online to support their academic needs Monitor fidelity of student work Maintain contact and communication with students and guardians/caregivers of students Maintain accurate records of student progress Collaborate with Credit Recovery team, Building Staff and Building Administration to improve student achievement Make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technology Licensure/Educational Requirements: Current Secondary Teaching License in appropriate areas* (*Math preferred, *Science preferred, English Language Arts, Social Studies) Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching credit recovery for 9-12 students Experience utilizing online and blended learning platforms Experience utilizing data to inform instruction Application Process: Our online application system offers the opportunity to upload additional information such as a cover letter, resume, references and transcripts.
