Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year Student Level: Second Grade Position Overview: We are seeking a highly flexible, collaborative, and student-centered educator to join our 2nd grade team as a part-time teacher for the 2026?2027 school year. This one-year position involves working closely with grade-level colleagues to provide high-quality instruction in core content areas, including math and literacy. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment and is committed to supporting the academic and social growth of all students. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the 2nd grade team to plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction Provide targeted instruction in core subjects, including math and literacy Support differentiated learning to meet the diverse needs of students Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with team members, students, and families as needed Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional collaboration opportunities Qualifications: Experience teaching at the elementary level Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to be flexible and responsive in a team-teaching environment Commitment to student-centered instruction and continuous improvement Other Qualities: Positive, team-oriented mindset Strong organizational skills Passion for working with young learners Schedule: This is a part-time position with a schedule to be determined in collaboration with the 2nd grade team and School Principal. Education and /or Experience: Bachelor''s degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicant must hold one of the following Minnesota Teaching License: K-5 Elementary Education. Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program a plus but not required.
