TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Teaching Agreement, salaried position, 1.0 FTE School Year, plus 10 days Starting Pay: $45,988 to $90,185* depending on education and previous experience. *Full salary schedule is listed. Superintendent approval is required for starting beyond step 6. Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. The district offers paid time off including sick and personal leave. District paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance are available to full-time teachers. Retirement matching and health care savings plan contributions are made after three years of service. Employees are eligible to attend home, non-playoff sporting events at no cost.
