Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (WHA) Independent School District (ISD) #113 is seeking a 1.0 FTE Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to serve multiple selected PAWN Special Education member districts.
Interested applicants should have or are working towards a MN license in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Dual Special Education licensure preferred.

Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor''s or master''s degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or related field or enrolled in a program.
- Licensure: Current Minnesota B-12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching licensure or the ability to attain one
- A strong understanding of students with special education needs due to DHH
- Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum for students with deaf and hard of hearing disabilities
- Assessment and evaluation skills for meeting eligibility criteria
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP)and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) for students with hearing loss.
- Foster open communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding students'' progress and individual needs
- Collaborate with other special education professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
Salary and benefits: Salary range $60,000-$80,724, depending on qualifications, comprehensive benefits package.
