Center for Environmental Studies is seeking an energetic and student-centered Band Teacher to join our strong and growing music program. Job Summary: The successful candidate will lead middle school band instruction and may also teach general music courses, depending on student registration and program needs. This position also includes dedicated time each day for small-group instrumental lessons, allowing students to receive targeted instruction and support as they grow as musicians. RMS-CES is a STEM magnet school serving students in grades 5?8. We are looking for a teacher who is excited to work with middle school learners, build relationships with students, and help young musicians develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Qualifications: Hold or be eligible for a current Minnesota teaching license Demonstrate a strong understanding of beginning and developing instrumentalists Bring energy, patience, and creativity to middle school music instruction Be committed to building a positive, inclusive, and engaging music program Collaborate well with students, families, and colleagues Support the broader mission and culture of Rockford Middle School ?
