Qualifications/Degree: Valid Minnesota teaching license required; K-12 reading degree/certification preferred Special Job Requirements: Within federal and state law and regulations and district policies and practice: Responsible for supporting students requiring reading interventions based on data driven decisions. Responsible for the management of the instructional program and assigned students. Responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assisting in the same throughout the building. Responsible for the assessment of student progress. Responsible for ensuring the Minnesota State Standards are met. Responsible for other duties as assigned by the building principal which are necessary to fulfill the basic function of the position and are consistent with the Master Agreement. Beginning Salary Range: As per the Stewartville United Educators'' Master Agreement in attachment. Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week. This includes health insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts for medical and dependent care, life insurance and dental reimbursement plan. Additional benefit details are outlined in the attachments. Job Description:  Stewartville Public Schools is seeking a Reading Intervention Specialist for grades 6-8 for the 2026-2027 school year.
