Start Your Online Application Now Position Title: Academic Resource Center (ARC) Teacher Department/Building : Forestview Middle School Reports to: Building Principal Assignment: 2026-2027 School Year Hours: 8 FTE, Monday through Friday Salary Range: $$46,936 - $ 90,238 (Based on education and experience; wages outlined in Certified contract located on district website ) Union - Ed MN FLSA - Overtime Exempt Job Description: The licensed special education teacher will offer resource support to students and teachers. They will coordinate with mainstream teachers when support is needed in the mainstream classroom and when students will be sent down to ARC for academic help. They will assist students in completing homework and taking tests. The teacher will casemanage 5th through 8th grade students and meet with their students during power hour. The teacher will oversee a paraprofessional who will assist in the ARC and also be available to assist teachers in classrooms on days that are needed. Expectations: Consistent set of Visual Rules Posted and enforced Supplies required when walking into ARC classroom: ARC pass, pencil, chromebook, classwork/test ARC pass will be used when entering/leaving the classroom Data will be collected on students who utilize the ARC throughout the day Organize a tracking document The resource teacher will coordinate with mainstream teachers to receive assignments, test dates, and large projects. Team case managers will also assist in this by posting a weekly agenda of assignments and tests in the team area and/or electronically.
