Glenville-Emmons Elementary Teaching Position 2026-2027 School Year Position Overview Glenville-Emmons School District is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons in literacy, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Use a variety of instructional strategies and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners and assess student progress Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success. Implement classroom management practices that encourage positive behavior and student responsibility. Support district goals and contribute positively to the school community. Qualifications and Employment details Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education. Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education. Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Salary based on experience and qualifications Salary and benefits are provided according to the master agreement and district policies. Compensation will be based on education and experience.
