Position Overview
Glenville-Emmons School District is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons in literacy, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners and assess student progress
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success.
- Implement classroom management practices that encourage positive behavior and student responsibility.
- Support district goals and contribute positively to the school community.
Qualifications and Employment details
- Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education.
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Salary based on experience and qualifications
Salary and benefits are provided according to the master agreement and district policies. Compensation will be based on education and experience.
