Position: PreK-8 Lead Literacy Interventionist School: Partnership Academy Elementary Position Type : Full time (1.0 FTE), 10.5 months Salary: $45,000-$80,000 on teacher salary scale Dates: August 10, 2026 for 2026-2027 school year, and beyond Mission: Partnership Academy?s mission is to create learning experiences and partnerships that empower students to achieve their greatest potential in order to be positive contributors in their community. Job Description : The PreK-8th Grade Lead Literacy Interventionist provides oversight of the literacy intervention program, including, but not limited to, leading team meetings, coaching literacy intervention teachers, completing annual evaluations, designing and implementing strong intervention systems, and using data based decision making to create equitable outcomes for all students. The Lead Literacy Interventionist will also deliver targeted ADSIS intervention in literacy for students in PreK-8 who are performing below grade level benchmarks. This position works within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to deliver evidence-based ADSIS interventions and collaborates with the Lead Math Interventionist and classroom teachers to ensure student success in foundational academic skills. Literacy interventionists are responsible for providing Tier 3 literacy ADSIS intervention to students in need via 1:1 or small group sessions, and working with classroom teachers to provide classroom-level, teacher-led Tier 2 ADSIS intervention during intervention blocks. Key Responsibilities: Direct Student Instruction: Provide small group and individual ADSIS intervention instruction in literacy skills Implement evidence-based intervention programs for PreK-8 students Deliver targeted ADSIS intervention in, but not limited to, phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension Provide ADSIS intervention in, but not limited to, number sense, counting, basic operations, and problem-solving Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and developmental levels Assessment and Data Management: Support diagnostic assessments administration to identify specific skill deficits in literacy Administer progress monitoring assessments and track student growth Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions and small group formation Maintain detailed records of student progress and intervention fidelity utilizing data platforms Prepare data reports for MTSS team meetings and all staff data dives Prepare intervention suggestions for SST grade level referrals Document intervention effectiveness and make recommendations for next steps Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with lead math interventionist, principals, and instructional coaches to align interventions with core instruction Participate in MTSS/SST team meetings and data analysis sessions Communicate regularly with families about student progress in ADSIS interventions Coordinate with other student support teams for referral processes when appropriate Program Support: Maintain and organize intervention materials and resources Assist with school-wide screening and assessment administration Participate in professional development related to literacy and math intervention Support transition planning between grade levels Contribute to building-level literacy and math improvement initiatives Supervise and coach literacy interventionists Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field Valid Minnesota teaching license with early childhood or elementary endorsement Experience teaching PreK-2nd grade students Knowledge of early literacy and numeracy development Understanding of MTSS/RTI frameworks Strong classroom management and behavior support skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work with diverse learners and families Preferred Qualifications: Master''s degree in Reading, Mathematics Education, or Special Education Reading specialist or math specialist certification Experience with intervention programs (EL Education Skills Block, Envisions Math, Bridges Math) Training in early childhood assessment tools Spanish speaker Experience working with students with disabilities Reports To: Director of MTSS Working Conditions: School-based position working with small groups of young children in various classroom and intervention settings Partnership Academy is a public charter school in Richfield, Minnesota, serving scholars in preschool through 8th grade from Richfield and neighboring communities, including Bloomington and south Minneapolis.   • Understanding of MTSS/RTI frameworks
  • Strong classroom management and behavior support skills
