Art Teacher St. Wenceslaus Catholic School ? New Prague, Minnesota St. Wenceslaus Catholic School is seeking a creative, energetic, and faith-filled educator to join our team as an Art Teacher for the 2026?2027 school year. Position Overview The Art Teacher will: Teach engaging art classes to students across multiple grade levels Foster creativity and artistic exploration in a positive classroom environment Integrate Catholic values and faith into daily classroom life Encourage students to grow in confidence, creativity, and appreciation of the arts Support the school community through participation in events, activities, and displays of student work This role is ideal for an educator who is creative, organized, relational, and passionate about helping students express themselves through art. Responsibilities The Art Teacher will: Plan and deliver meaningful and developmentally appropriate art instruction Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, materials, and styles Create engaging projects that encourage creativity and critical thinking Maintain a structured, positive, and respectful classroom environment Display and celebrate student artwork throughout the school and community Collaborate with teachers and staff on school projects and events Support students spiritually, socially, and emotionally through positive relationships Participate in the faith life and mission of the school Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and administration Qualifications Qualified candidates should possess: A Bachelor?s degree in Education, Art Education, or related field A current Minnesota Teaching License or relevant experience/credentials Strong classroom management and organizational skills Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching art Excellent communication and collaboration abilities A positive, flexible, and professional attitude Support for the mission and philosophy of Catholic education Comfort using technology and educational tools to support instruction Why Join St. Wenceslaus?
