Supervisor - Early Childhood / ECFE / School Readiness
Eastview Education Center – Community Education
1.0FTE Full-Time, 210 Day Position
Primary Objectives of the Position: Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Early Childhood / ECFE / School Readiness Supervisor is responsible for the management and delivery of comprehensive services for families and children from birth through age five including early childhood family education classes, early childhood screening, school readiness services and family outreach including parent education. This position operates under the direction of the Eastview Education Center (EEC) principal.
Licensure:
- Qualified candidates must have a valid Minnesota teaching license in Birth to Grade 3 and/or Parent Education prior to start date
- Administrative license preferred
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
- Staff management and evaluation of early childhood teachers and program staff
- Program management and evaluation of early childhood programs
- Marketing of early childhood programs
- Budget and finance within the early childhood programs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of ECFE, Early Childhood Screening and PreK programs
- Experience teaching in an early childhood program
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in problem analysis, data collection and problem solving
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent collaboration and team facilitation skills
- Strong computer skills
- Leadership experience
- Experience conducting staff trainings
- Maintain confidentiality of information about students and families
- Experience working with diverse students and families
