Rock Ridge Community Education Flag Football Coordinator (Fall 2026) Stipend: $1,000 Reports To: Chad Hazelton, Community Education Director, chad.hazelton@rrps.org The Flag Football Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the Rock Ridge Community Education Flag Football Program during the Fall 2026 season. The coordinator will work to provide a positive, safe, and developmentally appropriate experience for all participants while promoting strong sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and positive character development. Primary Responsibilities: Recruit, assign, and communicate with volunteer and paid coaches. Organize player evaluations as needed and create balanced teams. Develop and coordinate practice and game schedules. Coordinate facility and field usage with Community Education staff. Order and distribute uniforms, flags, and necessary equipment. Communicate program information to coaches, participants, and families. Promote and reinforce positive sportsmanship, teamwork, respect for officials and opponents, and appropriate conduct among coaches, players, and spectators. Encourage a positive and inclusive environment that emphasizes skill development, effort, and fun. Assist with resolving program concerns and ensuring a positive participant experience. Maintain program records and submit required reports to the Community Education Director. Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience working with youth sports programs preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, parents, participants, and Community Education staff. Commitment to fostering a positive youth sports environment and serving as a role model for participants. The Flag Football Coordinator serves as the primary contact for the program and is expected to support the mission of Rock Ridge Community Education by providing quality recreational and educational opportunities that emphasize participation, sportsmanship, skill development, and personal growth.Thank you!
