Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Functions Coordinates, manages and facilitates school based youth sports and activity programs. Provides for the health, safety, and well-being of team members. Promotes positive communication between coaches, activity staff, parents, students, and outside agencies. Integrates goals and standards of Columbia Heights schools into the sport programs and activity events. Completes continuing education courses, meetings, and events. Communicates and implements the head coaches'' and activity staffs'' vision for the program. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working in a coaching capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
