This position provides an opportunity to inspire students to develop a deep understanding of geography, politics, economics, and culture within a supportive and community-focused school environment. Key Responsibilities Promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and civic responsibility within the classroom. Teach various social studies disciplines, including U.S. History, World History, Civics, Geography, and Economics. Assess and monitor student progress using diverse evaluation methods. Collaborate with staff, administrators, and the community to support student well-being. Preferred Qualifications Valid Minnesota 7-12 Social Studies License. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Develop and deliver lesson plans covering history, geography, government, and economics, aligned with state standards. Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments. Licensure in multiple areas is preferred.
