South Koochiching / Rainy River ISD 363 – Northome School
Location: Remote. If able to relocate in person, full-time consideration would be given.
Position Type: Part-Time (2 class periods/day)
School Year: 2026–2027
Salary Range: $48,701 – $77,022 (based on education and experience and will be pro-rated based on FTE)

Inspire Students Through Language and Culture
Northome School is seeking a part-time enthusiastic and dedicated World Language Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students to develop language proficiency while exploring diverse cultures, perspectives, and global connections within a supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging world language instruction for students.
Foster students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the target language.
Integrate cultural studies to enhance global awareness and appreciation.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technology to enhance language acquisition.
Collaborate with staff, administrators, and the community to support student well-being.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Minnesota World Language, Spanish or German License.
Experience teaching world language at multiple grade levels.
Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and support varying proficiency levels.
Licensure in multiple areas is preferred.
