The Cyber Village Academy (CVA) Board of Directors seeks a strategic, solutions-oriented, and collaborative Executive Director to lead organizational sustainability, support academic success, and strengthen our inclusive school culture. CVA is a public K?12 charter school offering flexible, personalized learning through both online and in-person programming. We are committed to supporting the whole child and building an inclusive community where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally. DESCRIPTION The Executive Director will lead long-term planning, enrollment strategy, financial oversight, and resource allocation. This role serves as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors and authorizer and ensures compliance with all charter, legal, and reporting requirements. The Executive Director will partner with school leadership to strengthen academic innovation and programming, align policies and handbooks with CVA?s mission, and oversee student discipline in accordance with Minnesota law. The ideal candidate will empower teachers and staff through clear roles and systems, delegation, and performance metrics while building trust-based relationships that sustain improvement for students, families, and the school community. Qualifications: Master?s degree or higher in Education (required) K-12 Principal or Superintendent license (strongly preferred) Previous experience as a K-12 charter school executive director or superintendent is preferred. Must adhere to the Minnesota Code of Ethics for Administrators. Salary range: $70,000?$115,000 (full-time equivalent). Compensation is commensurate with experience and aligned with the size and scope of the school. Benefits are provided in accordance with CVA policy and applicable law and may include paid time off, sick and safe time, paid holidays, optional health benefits, life insurance, and applicable employer retirement contributions through TRA or PERA.
