Junior High Boys Basketball Coach- (LeRoy-Ostrander #499) LeRoy-Ostrander seeks a dynamic candidate to hire as the Junior High Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025-2026 season. Qualifications: Previous coaching experience preferred. Interest in helping student athletes grow, academically, athletically, socially to build character and maturity. Looking for candidates who prioritize relationships and are committed towards fostering a love for the game. Compensation: Compensation will be in accordance with Schedule C of the Teacher Master Agreement. Responsibilities: To assist in maintain high academic standards for all student athletes. To direct, supervise and regularly evaluate the performance. To work cooperatively with the Head Boys Basketball Coach at LeRoy-Ostrander school; participate in summer camps and supervise weight room/gymnasium. To foster among the participants and spectators and appreciation of the values of athletics, a desire to win, display an attitude of good sportsmanship and a sense of pride in team, school, self, and community. To lead the training, conditioning, and performance of the Basketball team and assist all other assistant coaches in their own individual development as coaches. To act as a positive influence upon the behavior of members of his/her athletic staff and team. Must have a love and passion for working with young people and be able to communicate effectively with student athletes, coaching staff, administration, and parents. Must be willing to participate in out of season practices/workouts.
