Summary of Duties: Curriculum & Instruction: PE Instruction: Teach fundamental motor skills, team sports, cooperative games, and lifetime fitness concepts tailored to early adolescents. Health Instruction: Deliver health education units on topics like nutrition, mental/emotional health, substance abuse prevention, and wellness. Assessment: Evaluate student participation, physical skill development, and health content knowledge through practical and written assessments. Professional Responsibilities: Collaboration: Coordinate with school counselors, nurses, and administration regarding student wellness and health accommodations. Communication: Maintain contact with parents regarding student progress, participation issues, or health-related topics.
