This assignment includes a combination of teaching English Education and being a Building Substitute at Shakopee East Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The daily schedule and courses are TBD and may be flexible. This assignment is from August 24, 2026 through June 4, 2027. Job Summary: Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student''s ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members. Qualifications: Current MN teaching license in English/ Language Arts or Communication Arts/ Literature. Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction. Strong classroom management skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff. Working Conditions: Classroom environment.
