The Advisor (Grades 7?12) serves as the primary teacher , advocate, and mentor for a small group of students at Jennings Community School. Advisors provide academic instruction while building strong relationships that promote student success, social-emotional growth, career readiness, and postsecondary planning. Advisors monitor student progress, communicate regularly with families, collaborate with staff, and support students in achieving individualized learning goals. This position is an integral part of Jennings'' personalized, relationship-centered educational model. Qualifications Valid Minnesota (gr. 7-12) teaching license preferred (or ability to obtain appropriate licensure). Experience working with at-risk or alternative education students preferred. Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills. Commitment to personalized learning, restorative practices, and student-centered instruction. Qualifications
