Position: Special Education Facilitator- 1.0 FTE Location: Forest Lake Area High School Starting Salary: $47,806 - $86,346/yr (Licensed teaching experience considered for higher placement/Prorated for FTE) Link to benefits & Other Compensation: FLEA Agreement Job Description: Forest Lake Area Schools is hiring a Special Education Facilitator for the 26/27 SY. Job duties include, but not limited to: Schedule and manage HS paraprofessional services Assist with the creation of the Master Schedule for special education Coordinate the classified para evaluations - annually Provide training and meetings to paraprofessional staff on an ongoing basis Coordinate due process compliance for annual IEPs and ERs Attend IEP meetings as admin designee (when designated) Serve as a liaison between administration/deans/special education coordinator, and staff Accommodation Facilitator - ensuring accommodations are distributed to teaching staff and support the needs for AP, MCA, ACT, etc Special Education Coach - supporting special education instruction Facilitate Student Study Team Assist administration/deans with discipline of students with disabilities Any specific qualifications or licenses required? MN Department of Education Special Education license required. Administrator license (principal or director) preferred.
