Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 08/03/2026 Date Closing: Until Filled Kids Company Wraparound Lead Position Overview The full-time Kids Company Wraparound Lead is responsible for assisting with the overall operations of the Belle Plaine Kids Company Wraparound (preschool-age) child care program. This role focuses on providing high-quality experiences for children rooted in our core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and compassion. Program Support & Responsibilities Management Assistance: Assist the Kids Company Manager with the overall management and operations of the Kids Company Wraparound program. Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for Kids Company Wraparound parents. Staff Communication: Provide organizational support and establish strong, clear communication channels with Wraparound staff. Leadership Collaboration: Conduct weekly follow-ups with the Community Education Director to discuss program updates, successes, and issues. Program Development: Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement daily activities for the Kids Company Wraparound program. Supervision: Supervise Group Leaders in the absence of the Community Education Director. Parent Relations: Establish and maintain proactive communication with parents regarding scheduling changes, updates, and student concerns. Policy Compliance: Maintain a thorough knowledge of and adhere to all Kids Company policies and procedures. Daily Operations: Implement and oversee the daily routine of the Kids Company Wraparound program. Other Duties: Perform alternative duties as assigned by the Community Education Director. Qualifications Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work closely and collaboratively with the Kids Company Manager. Experience: Proven experience in staff supervision, program development, and working within a school or childcare setting. Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills for administrative and communication tasks. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professionalism: Highly responsible, dependable, and capable of working independently. Judgment & Initiative: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, multitask, and exercise good judgment in a dynamic environment. Passion for Learning: Possess creativity, a love of learning, and a genuine interest in supporting staff to best serve the students. Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff. Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Certifications: Current Adult and Child CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain). Minnesota teaching license preferred.
