Encore Ensembles provides instrumental music education to private schools and homeschool families in the Twin Cities metro area. This position will involve traveling to multiple schools or homeschool locations per week, and providing band instruction, including lessons and rehearsals one day per week. The schools and homeschool groups we partner with are Lutheran, Catholic, and Christian. Currently, Encore Ensembles is seeking applicants for existing ensembles in the following cities: - Corcoran - Eagan - Lake Elmo - New Hope - St. Paul In fall 2026, we are partnering with Mayer Lutheran High School to provide band to their partner K-8 schools. We are also seeking applicants for this position. Mayer Lutheran Partner Schools are located in the following towns: - Chaska - Cologne - Glencoe - Hamburg - Mayer - Norwood Young America - Watertown - Wayzata The ideal applicant has: - A degree in instrumental music education. - Experience teaching beginning and middle school band. - A positive and flexible attitude. - Experience with recruitment and / or building a band program. Encore Ensembles provides: - Flexible scheduling. Whether you would like to teach 1 day per week or 5 days, we will work with you! - Mentorship. You will receive support from current Encore Ensembles teachers to help you have success. Some of the above positions are co-taught with current, experienced Encore Ensembles teachers. - Supportive schools and homeschool groups.
