Terms: 2026-27 Season Practice begins March 8, 2027 Compensation will be per the EGFEA Master Work Agreement Salary Range: $4,209.00 - $5,212.00/year Reporting Relationship: The Head Boys Track and Field Coach reports directly to the Activities Director. Basic Function of the Position: The Head Boys Track and Field Coach must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Job Summary: East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Boys Track and Field Coach to lead the track program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the boys track and field program. This includes planning and conducting practices, developing individual and team skills, promoting sportsmanship and academic success, supervising assistant coaches and student-athletes, and ensuring a safe and positive environment. The coach is responsible for organizing competitions, communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff, maintaining equipment, and complying with all school district, conference, and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) policies and regulations while fostering character, teamwork, and athletic excellence. Qualifications: Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level. Strong knowledge of track and field fundamentals, strategies, and training techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to develop positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and school staff. Must meet all MSHSL coaching certification requirements. Candidate must be able to successfully complete a background check.
