Northland Community Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute English Language Arts teacher for grades 7-12. This role is essential in providing continuity in the classroom during the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language arts, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This assignment begins on approximately December 12, 2026 and is expected to end March 3, 2027. Requirements - Valid teaching license in English language arts (or eligibility for certification). - Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. - Proficiency in using technology for teaching and classroom management. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
