Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 08/17/2026 OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES The District Office Coordinator is responsible for supporting Nova Classical''s students and teachers with dedication, enthusiasm, adaptability, kindness, passion, and energy. Much of the work of the District Office Coordinator consists of providing a welcoming atmosphere through effective and professional communication and demeanor with all members of Nova Classical''s community, including but not limited to: students, families, and staff. The District Office Coordinator is employed at-will and operates as a professional within the guidelines established by Nova Classical Academy. In cooperation with Nova Classical staff and volunteers, the District Office Coordinator works to fulfill the school''s mission in the following areas of responsibility: AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Greet students, staff, and visitors and provide appropriate assistance and/or direction to assist with inquiries related to Nova Classical''s policies and procedures Performs administrative and clerical duties under the direction of the Lower School Principal in support of Administration and staff Provides day-to-day support for short-call substitute processes, including handing out and collecting emergency plans, providing brief building orientation, same-day changes, and serves as backup when sub coordinator is unavailable Answers and directs all incoming phone and two-way radio calls, as appropriate Ensures adherence to check in/out processes for students, visitors, and volunteers through effective use of student information and visitor management systems Manages daily student attendance for the district including entering late arrivals and early releases Provides support for transportation changes and silent dismissal procedures Assists with calendar, resource, and room request management Oversees various District Office operations including supply ordering, inventory, file systems, and other items as directed Adherence to Nova Classical policies and procedures Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS High school diploma/GED Strong interpersonal skills Professional personal presentation Initiative and reliability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Current and/or previous experience working in an administrative or clerical role Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and other professional business software Intermediate computer skills, including experience with student information systems and MS Office and/or Google Workspace Knowledge of basic health and safety rules and regulations, including basic First Aid procedures Maintain confidentiality and safeguard private student data at all times Committed to professional and technical development through attendance at development activities, scheduled meetings, and relevant and/or required training DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Associate degree or other post-secondary degree Current and/or previous experience working in a K-12 or other academic setting Experience with Student Information System(s), including Infinite Campus, Google Workspace Experience with visitor and/or volunteer management software, including Raptor Experience and/or familiarity with charter schools and/or the classical model of education Current First Aid, CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain/renew PHYSICAL DEMANDS Duties are generally performed in a classroom and/or resource room setting, where some environmental hazards and/or risks may be present Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or walk for periods of one hour or more Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects in the performance of the job Must be able to exchange accurate information with students, teachers, parents, and staff Must be able to compile and maintain accurate, organized records Must be able to follow technical instructions, both written and verbal, in exact detail Regular operation of computer or other office machines Regular stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, bending, walking, or a combination of these Occasional or frequent standing for periods of four (4) hours or more Seasonal work outdoors in all weather conditions JOB SUMMARY The primary role of a District Office Coordinator is to enhance the learning environment for students by providing effective, efficient administrative support; engaging in appropriate customer service, and modeling intellectual and principled living by demonstrating character and intellectual virtues in accordance with Nova Classical Academy''s classical education tradition.
