The classroom teacher will return on Monday, February 1, 2027 , and a thoughtful transition plan will ensure you have the support and resources needed for success throughout the assignment. Position Overview The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will: Provide engaging, standards-based instruction for 4th grade students. Foster a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment. Support students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Maintain classroom routines and expectations that promote student success. Integrate Catholic values into the daily life of the classroom. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records. Communicate regularly with parents and school staff. Maintain a classroom culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and kindness. Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and administration. Participate in the faith life and mission of the school. Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and school events during the assignment. Qualifications Qualified candidates should possess: Bachelor''s degree in Education or a related field. Current Minnesota Teaching License (or eligibility for licensure). Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
