The purpose of this position is to assist teachers in the instruction of students. The schedule is: Monday: 8:15 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. (7.5 hrs/day) Tuesday: 8:15 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. (3.75 hrs/day) Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. (3.75 hrs/day) Thursday: 8:15 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m. (4.25 hrs/day) Friday: Off This position does not require a license, however, our paraprofessional positions require candidates to be considered "highly qualified" under the Code of Federal Regulations. This status requires: 1) At least two years of college credits through an accredited institution of higher education (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits); or 2) An associate''s or higher degree; or 3) A passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each.
