Teacher - DAPE Districtwide Part time: 0.70 FTE Available: August 24, 2026 Job Description: This position is working with students with individual needs that meet criteria for DAPE. This includes small group or individualized instruction. The special education teacher will collaborate with other service providers during the day to meet student needs. License & Experience: Licensed DAPE teacher Knowledge and experience working with students with special education needs. Experience working with students and families Essential Skills: Knowledge and experience completing due process and follow timeline requirements of special education Experience completing Part B evaluations Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred Salary Range: $45,921- $93,884 for 1 FTE per the current Faculty Master Agreement 2025-2027 Apply online at Monticello Schools Employment Opportunities Monticello Public Schools uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online
