Job Responsibilities Provide instruction in Health Education and Wellness using appropriate instructional resources and technology. Develop and implement engaging and innovative instructional strategies. Support Minnesota Academic Standards, applicable state requirements, and national standards related to student health and wellness. Implement district and school goals and objectives. Assess and evaluate student performance and maintain required student records. Promote student achievement and provide appropriate feedback to students. Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events as required. Maintain a positive, safe, and effective classroom environment. Establish and enforce appropriate expectations for student behavior. Participate in professional development and continued professional growth. Collaborate with staff to support student success. Perform other related duties as assigned.
