An EA provides the necessary support that enables the students to succeed and grow, both academically and in their independence. We expect our EA''s to be advocates and positive role models for the students and staff they work with in the school. Qualifications : Required: High School Diploma Preferred: Experience working with students with special needs Summary of Duties : Provide students with defined supports from their Individualized Education Plans under the direction of the Special Education teacher. Collect data on student progress the general or special education classroom under the direction of the special education teacher. Partner with teachers and administrators to provide the best possible educational environment for students. Participate in professional development opportunities throughout the school year to best serve students.
