Part-Time – 4 Hours Per Day
Mountain Iron-Buhl Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ELL Teacher to provide language instruction and support to students who are English Language Learners.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide English language instruction to students based on their individual language development needs.
- Support students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other school staff to support student success.
- Provide translation and communication support for students and families when needed.
- Assist with translating school communications and other important information as appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with students and families and help create a welcoming and supportive school environment.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow district procedures related to ELL services.
Schedule
- 4 hours per day
- Schedule to be determined based on student and district needs.
- Hours may increase as the school year progresses based on enrollment, student needs, and available funding.
Qualifications
- Experience working with English Language Learners preferred.
- Teaching license or ELL/ESL licensure preferred, but other qualified candidates may be considered.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and administration.
