Salary: $21.07- $22.34 per the Unaffiliated Employee Group Contract
Supervisor of Position: Peggy Tesdahl, Transportation Supervisor
Qualifications: Good communication skills, desire to work as a member of the team, ability to learn routing software, Class B license with school bus, air brake and passenger endorsements will be required within 60 days of hire. Training will be provided.
Summary of Duties: Create, modify and implement routes according to transportation requests, district policy, state statutes and available resources utilizing transportation technology and routing/scheduling applications and information systems.
Train new employees, students, bus drivers and educational assistants concerning safety standards, procedures and requirements, technical help, filling in for drivers and EA''s assign substitute employees when needed. Reconcile paperwork on a weekly and monthly basis.
All other duties as deemed appropriate by the Transportation Supervisor.
Positions 1,020 hours or more per year are benefit eligible
