Start Your Online Application Now FIELD HOUSE SUPERVISOR FOLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS Position Summary: Overview: Foley Public Schools/Community Education is accepting applications for field house supervisors positions beginning October-through late April. Duties include supervising the facility and participants in activities in the Field House and Fitness Center during evening and weekend hours. Candidates must be 18 years of age. Selected candidate(s) can work evening hours and/or weekend hours. Flexible schedules available Hours/Shifts Available Monday-Thursday: approx. (5:15-9:00pm) Saturday/Sunday: approx. (1:00-4:00pm) Added hours with events Location: Foley Community Education- Foley Field House and Fitness Center Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise the field house and entryways during evening and weekend hours when the field house is in use by community members. Be present to assist community members in their use of the facility, maintain discipline and cease behaviors that may cause accidents, injuries or vandalism. Open field house and rest rooms at the beginning of an activity. Adjust dividers as needed. Set up any necessary equipment. Greet field house users, answer questions, have participants sign in, sell daily or long term passes, etc. Secure field house and rest rooms at the end of an activity, put equipment away, and clean up area Complete daily receipt log and secure any cash or checks received. Reports damage, theft, and accidents to the Community Education Director Knowledge of lighting system, including electrical breaker box, in space being rented Access to cleaning supplies and knowledge of proper use, including garbage disposal and restroom restocking Access to equipment needed, knowledge of proper use and storage after use Access to first aid supplies and knowledge of proper use Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be a responsible and mature person. Promote positive image of Foley Public Schools Must be enthusiastic and eager to serve the public. Knowledge of field house rules and ability to enforce them. Must be able to handle disciplinary problems.
