The Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor assists the Production Supervisor with the best plan to carry out the kitchen''s school nutrition program under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director. The salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour - $27.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Schedule/Hours: 192 days per year Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day Responsibilities: Weekly & monthly ordering and receiving products from various vendors with regard to menu plans and catering. Inventory management Production record management Sanitation management Ensure compliance with the School Nutrition Program Guidelines Market School Nutrition Programs through various promotions to increase participation Monitor equipment and kitchen supplies for repair or replacement Oversee Cook Lead and kitchen staff Assist with hiring and the evaluation of food service staff job performance Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a managerial role in school food service or any other institution serving masses of participants is required SNA Level 4 and Food Protection Manager License is required Strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Google and experience working with menu planning systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Customer service skills are essential for contributing to the success of the School Nutrition programming Benefits: Paid Holidays Sick Leave Vacation Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability VEBA or HSA plan Retirement plan with employer contribution Please submit your online application at www.isd423.org/employment , job #2454.
