This position is responsible for supervising students, promoting appropriate behavior, encouraging positive social interactions, and ensuring district expectations for equity, inclusion, and cultural responsiveness are upheld. Key Responsibilities Student Safety and Supervision: Maintain active supervision of students in the cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas. Positive Behavior and Inclusion: Encourage respectful behavior, positive peer relationships, and inclusive interactions among all students. Transitions and Routines: Support smooth, safe, and orderly transitions between lunch, recess, and instructional time. Student Support: Address minor behavioral concerns appropriately and communicate significant safety or behavior issues to designated school staff. School Expectations: Reinforce school rules, routines, and expectations consistently and fairly. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to actively supervise students, recognize potential safety concerns, and respond appropriately. Ability to exercise sound judgment regarding student safety and well-being. Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
