November 6, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Middle School Assistant Wrestling Coach. Position Middle School Assistant Coach Athletic or Activity Wrestling Rate of Pay $2,585 stipend for the Season Hours Per Day Approximately 2-3 Schedule (Approximately) All schedule specifications are approximate* Season runs mid-November through the middle of February. Practices: Monday?Friday, 3:00?4:30 PM (Middle School Auxiliary Gym) Competitions:1 per week on average (occasionally 2) - typically on Mondays, occasionally on Saturdays, never on Sundays. Home Meets: 3:00?6:30 PM Away Meets: As early as 2:00 ? as late as 9:00 PM (varies by travel distance) Saturday Meets: As early as 6:00 AM ? as late as 5:00 PM Working Days per Year Seasonal - Mid November 2026 through Mid February 2027 Benefits Benefits for this position are limited due to the limited and variable nature of the role. -Paid Time Off ? Sick Leave/Earned Safe & Sick Time - Earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked Bargaining Unit Not Applicable Qualifications Required ? Must be capable of being at the scheduled meeting location by 3:00 pm. ? Must be capable of attending Saturday meets ? Experience coaching and/or past participation in wrestling preferred. ? Experience with google sheets is preferred. ? Experience with the Bound app is preferred. ? Basic first aid and CPR training is preferred.
