January 8, 15, 22, 29 Time 6:30- 7:30pm

Location: High School Wrestling Room
Mora Public School District #332 is seeking an experienced and compassionate ASL Interpreter to support an elementary student who is deaf and participates in the district's wrestling program. The position is part-time, providing services on Wednesdays during the student’s wrestling practice sessions. The ASL Interpreter will facilitate communication between the student, coaches, and teammates to ensure an inclusive and accessible environment for all participants.
Job Duties include:
* Provide on-site ASL interpretation during wrestling practice sessions for the student who is deaf.
* Facilitate communication between the student, coaches, and other students during wrestling drills and activities.
* Ensure that all instructions, feedback, and team interactions are communicated clearly and effectively.
* Collaborate with the student's teachers and the wrestling coaching staff to ensure consistency in communication and accommodations.
* Support the student’s participation in the wrestling program by addressing their unique needs in a respectful and inclusive manner.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with the student and staff.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (minimum); certification or degree in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred. Proven experience providing ASL interpretation, preferably in an educational or extracurricular setting. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, coaches, students, and parents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for the student.
Salary: Dependent on Qualifications (DOQ)
