This role ensures the efficient management of data systems to support decision-making at both the district and building levels. The MTSS Data Manager collaborates with district administrators, school-based teams, and educators to maintain data integrity and provide insights that enhance student interventions and outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS: The MTSS Data Manager shall: 1. Demonstrate education, work history and/or expertise in the essential functions of the position (outlined below). 2. Have at least three years of experience in education programs. 3. Have experience working with school-based MTSS teams. 4. Have training in database management, statistical analysis, or predictive analysis. 5. Have knowledge of Response to Intervention (RtI), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), SEB, and/or other MTSS Frameworks. 6. Possess the ability to effectively organize and present information both orally and in writing. 7. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with others, including students, parents, and colleagues. 8. Demonstrate a strong moral character and impeccable work ethic. 9. Have experience with or show willingness and excitement in working with Native American children and families. 10. Integrate Ojibwe Language and Culture into the workplace. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The MTSS Data Manager will engage in the following essential duties. This list is illustrative of the types of work in which the data manager will engage and is not exhaustive. District-Level Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain district-wide MTSS data systems to track academic and SEB interventions and outcomes. * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across multiple platforms. * Provide reports and dashboards that assist in data-driven decision-making and compliance with district, state, and federal policies. * Train administrators and school staff on data entry, interpretation, and utilization of MTSS data systems. * Assist in evaluating MTSS implementation effectiveness through data analysis and trend identification. * Collaborate with the MTSS Coordinator, District Training and Data Specialists, and district leadership to align data collection processes with strategic goals. Building-Level Support Responsibilities: * Support school-based teams in collecting and analyzing student performance data to identify intervention needs. * Assist teachers and support staff in utilizing data-driven tools for monitoring student progress. * Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for data platforms used in MTSS processes. * Generate timely reports for school teams to inform instructional and intervention decisions. * Collaborate with school personnel to ensure the fidelity of progress monitoring and tiered support implementation. This position will require travel between schools within the district. Work is performed in both office and school settings with occasional evening meetings or professional development sessions.
