POSITION SUMMARY STRIDE Academy is seeking a Licensed School Psychologist beginning in the 2025-26 school year. Under the direction of administration, the School Psychologist will provide leadership in assessing student needs, conducting evaluations, and supporting staff in implementing interventions. The School Psychologist plays a key role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment by addressing students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs. This position offers flexibility, whether you are seeking a part-time or full-time role, with the potential for some work to be completed remotely. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &#9679; Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility and areas of need &#9679; Use a variety of assessment tools to evaluate cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral development &#9679; Analyze assessment data to inform instruction and intervention strategies &#9679; Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success &#9679; Assist staff in implementing research-based interventions for learning and behavior &#9679; Collaborate on the development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) &#9679; Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) by ensuring evidence-based interventions are in place &#9679; Facilitate Problem-Solving Team (PST) meetings to identify student needs and appropriate interventions &#9679; Provide resources and training on social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies &#9679; Ensure adherence to state and federal special education laws (FAPE, IDEA, Section 504) &#9679; Assist in crisis response, student risk assessments, and threat assessments &#9679; Serve as a liaison between STRIDE Academy and community-based mental health resources QUALIFICATIONS &#9679; Master&#8217;s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctorate in School Psychology &#9679; Minnesota School Psychologist License (or eligibility to obtain) &#9679; Knowledge of MTSS, SEL, and research-based interventions &#9679; Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills &#9679; Experience in a K-8 educational setting preferred BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000+ for a 1.0 FTE, with adjustments made based on FTE percentage. Higher compensation may be considered based on experience, professional credentials, and qualifications.
