You can create the class you want to teach! * Summer classes and camps for preschool age students through grade 8 (We typically do not offer grade 9 - 12 camps or classes, but we will take proposals.) * Most classes and camps are one week long for 3 hours per days (other camp formats are possible). * Creative teaching ideas are encouraged * Class topics and details are worked on cooperatively with the Summer Program Coordinator. * Positions available June 9 - August 22. Work the number of weeks you choose, with full day or half day options. Exact schedule would be set with Summer Program Coordinator. Examples of Common Summer Camps and Class Content Areas: * Academic Enrichment * Sports/Fitness * Visual/Performing Arts * Theme Classes * Technology * Active/Outdoor * World Language * Other ideas accepted Qualifications: * Fun, nurturing and caring. Organized and flexible. * Minnesota Teaching License preferred not required. * Previous work experience with school age children preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
