Qualifications: * Valid teaching license issued by the WI Department of Education - minimally grades 6-8. * Knowledge of essential state standards and ability to utilize standards to identify key learning targets. * Experience and knowledge in a variety of ELA instructional practices that leads to differentiated instruction and personalized learning pathways. * Understanding of how to utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet a wide range of student learning styles and abilities. * Ability to evaluate student performance both formative and summative, and use the data to provide direct student feedback and foster overall learning. * Provide intervention and support to students who are below grade level in reading and writing, utilize data to monitor progress. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, district staff and community members. * Excellent organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication skills. * Willingness to explore and create new opportunities for students.
