Qualifications & Responsibilities: * Valid teaching license in Special Education issued by the WI Department of Education. * Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable academic and behavioral goals. * Monitor student progress toward academic and behavioral goals and adjust instruction and supports accordingly. * Facilitate social-emotional learning opportunities and conflict resolution strategies. * Communicate regularly with families to support student growth. * Maintain accurate records in compliance with IDEA and district policies. * Knowledge of state standards in the core curriculum areas and the ability to modify and support students across all curricular areas. * Understanding of how to utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet a wide range of student learning styles and abilities. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, district staff and community members.
