Pay rate $32/hr.
Program Introduction:
Our Elementary Summer Learning Adventures Program is designed for our rising 1st - 5th grade students to provide an extra boost for success moving into the upcoming school year. Each week of the 5 week program will be an active and engaging experience centered around a theme for students to explore. Speakers, games, and field trips will be integrated into each week. In addition, students receive math, literacy, and creative play to support becoming a more confident learner.
Position Description:
Summer Targeted Services English Language Development Teacher.
Elementary Position: Teaching EL Newcomer Students (Levels 1-2) in EL Newcomer classroom at Sun Path Elementary.
Program Dates: Monday – Thursday July 6th - August 6th
Student Hours Elementary: 7:45 AM - 1:15 PM
Qualifications:
Valid MN teaching license for ELD.
Knowledge and willingness to co-teach with reading and language arts teacher preferred.
Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
Working Conditions:
Classroom environment.
