Program Description:
Summer Learning Adventures English Language Development Teacher.
Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate Summer ELD Teacher to support language development for Newcomer ELD students. The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging lessons to build English language skills, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where students can thrive as they adjust to their new academic and cultural setting.
Pay Rate $32/hr.
Program Dates/Times:
July 6th – July 30th (M-TH)
Student Hours: 8:25 AM – 12:25 PM
Qualifications:
Valid MN teaching license for ESL.
Knowledge and willingness to co-teach with reading and language arts teacher preferred.
Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
Working Conditions:
Classroom environment.
