The Minneota Public School District has a Long-Term Elementary Substitute Teacher, Grade 1, from April 27, 2026 through May 20, 2026 and the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year to October 12, 2026.  Minneota is located in Southwest Minnesota, (approximately 10 miles northwest of Marshall, MN).

We are looking for candidates who act with honor, show respect, and meet high expectations!

An elementary teacher will create a safe, welcoming classroom where students build foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking. 

The candidate will:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to curriculum standards
• Follow or adapt the regular teacher’s lesson plans
• Maintain classroom routines and behavior expectations
• Track student progress and maintain gradebook
• Communicate with parents when required

Requirements:

• A valid MN teaching license OR
• Previous teaching experience is preferred, not required

Pay:

If applicant holds a long-term substitute license, substitute pay will be $30.29/per hour. If applicant holds a short call license, substitute pay will be $180/per day.
